Enjoy a day relaxing by the pool or some of the activities at the resort including horse riding, rafting, golfing and hiking.
Mont Tremblant to Saint-Alexis-Des-Monts (172km)
Your base for a 3-night stay is Sacacomie Lodge, a charming log structure perched between mountain and lake that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Accommodation includes daily breakfast and dinner.
DAYS 6 & 7
On the banks of Lake Sacacomie and bordering the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve, there’s a wealth of outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. The lodge also has an indoor pool, hot tubs and spa or just relax on the deck offering expansive views of the lake.
Saint-Alexis-Des-Monts to Saint Felicien (330km)
This will be your longest day of travelling but the destination makes it worthwhile. Around Lac St-Jean, a huge freshwater lake left from the Ice Age, lies an area offering cultural and outdoor activities with a visit to the Historic Village of Val-Jalbert recommended. Your overnight accommodation is at Hotel du Jardin.
Saint Felicien to Tadoussac (280km)
This morning visit the famous Zoo of Saint Felicien (admission included) then travel to Tadoussac on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Overnight stay at Hotel Tadoussac.
Tadoussac to Québec City (220km)
This morning enjoy a whale-watching excursion on the St. Lawrence River in search of finback, minke and beluga whales that frequent this area during summer. Later drive to Québec City for a 3-night stay at the Hotel Manoir Victoria
DAYS 11 & 12
The old section of the city is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and unlike anywhere else in North America. With its cobblestoned streets, fortified city wall and 17th-century architecture there are many sightseeing opportunities, including the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, the Upper and Lower Towns, the National Assembly and Parliament Buildings.
