Arrive in Calgary / Banff
Arrive in Calgary and transfer by coach to the mountain resort town of Banff, where you will check into your hotel for a four-night stay.
This morning enjoy an excursion that includes the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for exceptional views of the Bow Valley and six mountain ranges. You’ll also see scenic highlights which include Surprise Corner, the Hoodoos and Bow Falls. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.
Icefield Discovery Tour
Today you journey along the spectacular Icefields Parkway where lakes, waterfalls and mountain peaks dot the awe-inspiring landscape. On arrival at the Columbia Icefield, venture onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier by means of an Ice Explorer vehicle.
At Leisure / Evening Wildlife-Viewing
Today enjoy a relaxing day in Banff where a visit to the Whyte Museum is highly recommended. This evening a two-hour wildlife viewing excursion, accompanied by an experienced guide, will introduce you to some of the animals that inhabit the park; keep a watch out for elk, bighorn sheep and deer.
Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops
Climb aboard Rocky Mountaineer for a scenic rail journey to Kamloops in the interior of British Columbia. As the train crosses over the continental divide you pass through the spirit tunnels in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement. Continue on the through the Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park with endless views of snow-capped mountains and stunning glaciers. Pass by Craigellachie where the last spike was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway Trans Canada link in 1885.
Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Vancouver
Re-board the Rocky Mountaineer train and follow the Thompson River through Ashcroft – one of Canada’s driest towns – and pass through Rainbow Canyon with its cliffs striped with pinks, greens, and greys creating a stunning effect. Continue on to the Fraser Canyon where
at Hell’s Gate you will observe a water torrent past the canyon walls at its narrowest point. The last leg of the journey takes you through the lush farming region of the Fraser Valley to arrive in the Pacific port of Vancouver late afternoon. On arrival at Vancouver transfer to the Georgian Court Hotel or similar for a 3-night stay.
DAYS 7 & 8
Your two-day hop-on/hop-off Trolley Tour pass (included) allows you to sightsee at leisure. Your guide on the San Francisco Style Trolley gives full commentary city tour and you can simply step off/on at a variety of stops including Stanley Park, Granville Island, Gastown and Robson Street.
Today you will board a coach for the scenic drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler. Once there, you will check into the Fairmont Chateau Whistler for a two-night stay with the rest of the day at leisure.
Explore the pedestrian village, wander around the shops, galleries and visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. Also enjoy the Peak-2- Peak Gondola (included) to travel between the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
Today’s highlight will be the scenic floatplane flight from Whistler’s Green Lake to Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Upon arrival you will transfer (not included) to your Victoria hotel for a two-night stay.
Today enjoy a thrilling three-hour boat cruise in search of orcas, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. You’ll have time to visit the world famous Butchart Gardens (not included) if you wish, to enjoy the exquisite oral displays – this truly is one of the most famous show gardens in the world.

Today you will travel by coach and ferry from Victoria to Vancouver Airport, where your arrangements end upon arrival.
